1. Introduction & Children's Privacy
The Blooming Kid is designed to be a private family habit tracker. We strictly adhere to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (**COPPA**). Our app is intended for parents and legal guardians to manage their family routines. **We do not collect, store, or share any personal information from children.** Everything is kept private and localized to your family.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
True to our "Privacy-First" promise, we collect **zero** Personal Information (PII) from children or parents during your use of the app:
- No Email Address: You sign up anonymously.
- No Phone Numbers: No contact data is requested.
- No Full Names: You use a nickname for your family workspace.
- No Exact Birthdays: We only ask for a general age bracket to provide appropriate goal suggestions.
3. Local-First & Private Storage
All your family data—including goals, habits, progress photos, and reward history—is stored **locally on your device**. It is 100% private. We do not store this data on our company servers, we do not have a master database of your family’s activities, and we cannot access your information.
4. Two-Parent Synchronization
If you choose to sync with a second parent, updates are sent using end-to-end encryption. The data is delivered to the second device and then **immediately deleted** from our temporary transfer queue. We act as a secure post office; we deliver your message but we cannot read it and we do not keep a copy.
5. Google Play Billing
Subscriptions and payments are handled securely by the Google Play Store. We do not see or store your credit card or financial information. Google provides us with an anonymized transaction token to verify your subscription status.
6. Infrastructure & Diagnostics
We use minimal infrastructure logs (via Firebase) to monitor app stability and performance. These logs are anonymized and do not contain any family-specific habit data or personal identifiers.
7. Your Rights
Since your data is local, you have full control. You can delete or export your data at any time directly from the app settings. Once you delete the app or clear its data, that information is gone forever from your device.
